Our mirror satin, also known as stretch satin, is a great choice for supportive bra cups when paired with a stable cup fabric like sheer cup lining. Some people use it on its own for bra cups and bands. It's great for panties and camisoles. You can make a matching bra and panty set, and pick up some stretch lace to accent its loveliness. It is opaque and provides great coverage, and it's great for a T-shirt bra that clothing slips right over. There is a 50% to 75% stretch in the fabric in the lenthwise dimension, and it is relatively stable across the grain. It's pretty easy to sew. Cut it 1/8" to 1/4" smaller than the stable fabric when making cups, or self line it with the stretch going in opposite directions. You can cover the bra band provided that the stretch of the mirror satin is greater than the stretch of the power net. It is liquid, shiny and drapes well, and it doesn't ravel. It is available in four colors. The blue is textured, and looks like the deep part of the ocean.
Mirror satin, like all our fabrics, are sold by the half-yard, and averages 45 - 54" wide. It also comes in a kit cut of a fat quarter of fabric.
