Sew along with Cynthia from Apostrophe Patterns as she makes these adorable cotton lycra print panties. You'll love this cotton lycra! It is soft, easy to sew, and so cute!! The kit features one of the darling prints you see pictured. You choose your favorite! Some of these may sell out faster than others, so we are asking you to make a first choice and a second choice. The elastics for the Little Birds option will be Cream. Elastics for everything else will be in all Frost. We have 1 coordinating set of fabrics, which you can see in the pictures. Birch Trees coordinates with Little Birds. Choose one print for your panties, and the coordinating print for your Ingrid bra. Oh so cute!
The elastic lengths listed are for a medium size. You may double or triple your elastics for larger sizes, or to make more than one pair of panties. Triple elastics will be enough for anyone. Cynthia will be using the My Fit Underwear Pattern from Apostrophe Patterns.
Confused about sizes? Our solution is to offer a range of cuts so that you can get the panties you want! We offer 4 different cuts of fabric, Quarter (kit cut), Quarter Plus (fat 3/8 yard), Half (half yard), and Half Plus (3/4 yard). For reference, a Quarter+ will make most hipster panties for a size large.
Each Panty Sew Along Kit contains:
- A Kit cut (Q), Fat 3/8 yard (Q+), half yard (H), or 3/4 yard (H+) of cotton lycra print
- 1 yard looped picot elastic (Quarter)
- 1.5 yards fancy narrow picot elastic (Quarter)
- You may double or triple your elastics for larger sizes or more panties.
- A 9x9 square of cotton jersey fabric
