Bra Bee '23 Sew Along - The Aries Bra with Jennie

It's time to sew along with Jennie! This kit has everything that you'll need to complete the project in whichever of the variations that you prefer.

You are going to love the way that the Aries bra lets you show off your gorgeous lace! Whether you want to turn your bra into a base garment under a jacket or just let the lace peek out from under a shirt, you have the exact right pattern. Jennie will cover both a standard frame and an extended frame, and she'll show 3 different strap variations. You don't need to decide in advance which project you'll complete, you'll have all the materials you need for all of them! It will be much easier to do the strap variations with the silk base fabric. 

We've sourced all sorts of wonderful fabrics, colors and laces for your bra. This project has the widest selection of beautiful laces, and nearly all of them have a silk option to carry your project nicely into the type of garment that can do double duty. Of course, you don't need to use the silk for your bra -- you can also choose our Super Simplex as your base fabric. The kit comes with both the opaque base fabric and Sheer Cup Lining to line your bra. This provides excellent support for all sizes, and yields a lovely finish. You'll love Jennie's detailed instructions and couture construction and finishing techniques. 

We are offering our bra kits in 2 sizes, Larger and Smaller. The primary difference is in the size of the findings and the weight of the power net. The secondary difference is in the amount of cup fabric. If you want the larger amount of cup fabric, just upgrade the cup. This gives you more fabric but the correct size findings. Both sizes contain 2 sets of hook and eyes--one for the regular frame and one for the extended frame. We're also giving you the option to swap the findings size in your kit, or chose "Send All the Options" if you're not sure what you'll need. You can also upgrade to include matching thread, extra lace, an additional Bra Finishing Kit and to pick up the pattern. Many women can get 2 bras with our kits.
