Bra Bee '23 Sew Along - The Strapless Bra

It's time to sew along and make it your perfect strapless bra! This kit has everything that you'll need to complete this project. Please let us know which frame size you're after. We'll send you a longer hook and eye for the Extended Frame and the Long Line.

Finding a supportive, beautiful strapless bra that actually fits can be tricky. You don't want to spend your entire day yanking up the center to keep it from falling down. We'll add the ability to pop on a strap when you want to wear your bra this way, but if you follow our featured artist's lead, you should be able to adapt your bra pattern for a beautifully supportive strapless. She will use the Willowdale, the Black Beauty and the Maya pattern to create these wardrobe essentials.

We've sourced all sorts of wonderful fabrics, colors and laces for your bra. This project has a lovely array of neutral fabrics and laces in a variety of skin tones, and all of them have a silk option to make your bra elegant and luxe. Of course, you don't need to use the silk for your bra -- you can also choose our Microduoplex as your base fabric. The kit comes with both the opaque base fabric and Sheer Cup Lining to line your bra. This provides excellent support for all sizes, and yields a lovely finish. We're also providing sew alongs for some coordinating garments. The Liz lace has the very best matching set possibilities. You can match your bra, your Yoke-Back Embroidered Mesh undies (you'll pay $400 retail for these undies!) and your couture vintage girdle. What an elegant set!! You'll love our teacher's gentle style, detailed instructions, couture construction and finishing techniques. 

We are offering our bra kits in 2 sizes, Larger and Smaller. The primary difference is in the size of the findings and the weight of the power net. The secondary difference is in the amount of cup fabric. If you want the larger amount of cup fabric, just upgrade the cup. This gives you more fabric but the correct size findings. We're also giving you the option to swap the findings size in your kit, or chose "Send All the Options" if you're not sure what you'll need. We're including a 4 hook and eye for the regular length frame for all sizes. You can upgrade for the Extended Frame and the Long Line You can also upgrade to include matching thread, extra lace, and an additional Bra Finishing Kit. Many women can get 2 bras with our kits.

This is what color will come with your lace choice. The color of your elastics and other fabrics is dyed to match your lace choice, and perfectly coordinates with the silk option if you choose it.
