Our Bra Builder Combo Kits take the guesswork out of bra building by putting together everything you'll need to make a beautiful Bra using your own pattern. If you need a pattern, we have a great selection on our Patterns Page, both paper and downloadable.
We know a gal who discovered that she has advanced breast cancer, so this kit is in honor of her. We'll be donating 10% of the proceeds from this kit to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for breast cancer research. We all want to support our sisters who are struggling, and this is a way to do that. Our Featured Artist Alice made this pretty bra for us!
Our Antique Rose color is a beautiful, light, natural ballet pink, and this subtly colored lace is a perfect match in both color and feeling. This isn't a bold bra, it's a subtle and yet beautiful bra. This kit is both ageless and seasonless, and is always a wonderful option to feel pretty underneath. It's pretty tricky to capture color exactly, but from my phone and computer, the main picture of the bra is pretty close to the actual color.
This bra kit features either Microduoplex, Sheer Cup Lining, Super Simplex or Microlycra as the base fabric. Alice, our Featured Artist for this kit, used the Sheer Cup Lining under her lace, and then made panties out of Microlycra. Isn't it darling?
Just like Alice, you might want a matching pair of panties to go with your Pretty In Pink bra. You can find a matching lace panty kit as the Teresa's Pretty In Pink Lace Panty Kit, or if you prefer our lovely Microlycra Panty Kit or our beautiful Stretch Mesh Panty Kit then pop on over to the listings for those kits, choose Special/Legacy color and indicate Antique Rose for a matching set.

The strength of our microduoplex fabric, which makes it so wonderful for bras, also makes it hard to puncture with needles and pins. This is true with most duoplex fabrics. Use either fine silk pins or Wonder Clips to pin (I find Wonder Clips work best), and a Microtex 80/12 needle with a smooth thread like Superior Threads So Fine or Mettler Metrosene to make it easy to sew. In my testing, the So Fine thread and Microtex 80/12 won the challenge of the nicest stitch on microduoplex, and as long as my presser foot completely covered the seam allowance, I found it just as easy to sew as quilting cotton. I moved the needle to the right to set my seam allowance at 1/4" since my presser foot is a bit wide. I find it works well to saturate the lace with liquid starch and let it dry before laying out your pattern pieces and cutting your fabric. This stiffens the lace until you wash it and the lace has enough body to behave well in the sewing process.
We offer all these pins, clips, needles and thread here on our site.
