This beautiful, liquid crushed velvet knit is a great choice for supportive bra cups when paired with a stable cup fabric like sheer cup lining. Some people use it on its own for bra cups and bands. It's great for panties and camisoles. You can make a matching bra and panty set, and pick up some stretch lace to accent its loveliness. It is opaque and provides great coverage. There is a 75% stretch in the fabric in the lenthwise dimension, and about a 30% stretch across the grain. It's pretty easy to sew, but you should press it over a terry cloth towel or washcloth to preserve the nap. Cut it 1/8" to 1/4" smaller than the stable fabric when making cups. You can cover your bra band provided that the stretch of the velvet is greater than the stretch of the power net. It is liquid, shiny and drapes well, and it doesn't ravel. It is currently available in three colors.
Mirror satin, like all our fabrics, are sold by the half-yard, and averages 60" wide. It also comes in a kit cut of a fat quarter of fabric.
