I have to admit it, I'm a ditsy floral kind of gal. I also realize that some gals are not at all ditsy floral gals, and they want something a bit different. This print is that different look -- abstract, stunning, artistic. It is perfect for winter with it's take on cloudy atmosphere and bare trees. Even though I'm a ditsy floral gal, I still love this print.
If you've never worked with Liberty London cotton lawn, you're in for a treat! These bra kits are accented with this gorgeous, silky fabric in any way that you choose. Make beautiful straps, add accents to the cup or the frame, make a custom hook and eye unit -- the sky's the limit! Liberty lawn is woven from a fine, silky thread and is extremely stable. It isn't prone to raveling like many cottons, so it works beautifully on a bra. It doesn't have any stretch, so I like it better as an accent, kind of like you'd use a rigid lace. Each print has a limited availability, so if you see one you like you should pick it up, and this is one of those "just a little bit" prints. It is unlikely to be re-stocked. You can add any of our laces to your kit for a Liberty and Lace kit. See our listing for individual hooks and eyes to complete your custom-made hook and eye set.
The Liberty Kit is based off of our Super Support Bra Kit featuring microduoplex lined with sheer cup lining. This is the gold standard for a supportive bra. The microduoplex is buttery soft, never ravels or frays, is almost indestructible and lets clothing glide right over it. It has a satin side and a matte side, and you can use either side as the right side. While the microduoplex can be used as a single layer, pairing it with a sheer cup lining provides a beautiful finish. You can line any part of your bra where you use the Liberty lawn with sheer cup lining, and you can sew it right to the microduoplex. If you've used other duoplex for your bra building, you'll be delighted with the microduoplex. It has all the lovely features of the polyester duoplex available elsewhere, but it has a lovely hand and conforms to your shape even better. You can also specify Tricot for your cups. Line Tricot cups with the same Tricot fabric but orient the stretch in opposite directions.
There are two supportive power net options to choose with your super support bra. Use our medium weight power net for 75% stretch, great comfort, and very good support. Use our firm weight power net with 50% stretch which is the power net that Bravo Bella carried for much of 2017 and 2018.

The strength of our microduoplex fabric, which makes it so wonderful for bras, also makes it hard to puncture with needles and pins. This is true with most duoplex fabrics. Use either fine silk pins or Wonder Clips to pin (I find Wonder Clips work best), and a Microtex 80/12 needle with a smooth thread like Superior Threads So Fine or Mettler Metrosene to make it easy to sew. In my testing, the So Fine thread and Microtex 80/12 won the challenge of the nicest stitch on microduoplex, and as long as my presser foot completely covered the seam allowance, I found it just as easy to sew as quilting cotton. I moved the needle to the right to set my seam allowance at 1/4" since my presser foot is a bit wide. A Microtex needle also works great on the Liberty London lawn.
We offer all these pins, clips, needles and thread here on our site.
