Sewing Notes:
The strength of our Microduoplex fabric, which makes it so wonderful for bras, also makes it hard to puncture with needles and pins. This is true with most duoplex fabrics. Use either fine silk pins or Wonder Clips to pin (I find Wonder Clips work best), and a Microtex 80/12 needle with a smooth thread like Superior Threads So Fine to make it easy to sew. In our testing, the So Fine thread and Microtex 70/10 won the challenge of the nicest stitch on Microduoplex, and as long as the presser foot completely covered the seam allowance, I found it just as easy to sew as quilting cotton. Consider moving the needle to the right to set the seam allowance at 1/4" if the presser foot is a bit wide.
Thank you Linda – We will not be guiding based on a pattern…your favorite pattern or the pattern you’ve want to try for good fit is how you will learn more. I also recommend a Supply Kit in LARGE…purchase it separately here: https://www.brabuilders.com/products/bra-fit-studi0-bra-kit?pos=1&_sid=79e6f864e&ss=r
Its optional, as you dont have to purchase it to participate. The schedule of the Clinic has been posted. Feel free to share more questions.
What pattern will you be using?
what bra supply kit do you recommend if I am a 38DDD in RTW?
Thanks
