The Bra Fit Studio is hosting is a focused, month-long course designed to help you finally understand—and confidently tackle—bra fitting.
Led by industry experts Linda Crawford and Christine Stoodley, this course breaks fitting down into a clear, approachable process with guidance, community, and real-time support. Bra Fit Studio Hosts, Nikki from Bra Builders and Natalie from Sparkly Sewist will support you along your fitting journey.
What You’ll Learn
Inside The Bra Fit Studio, you’ll work through the core components of bra fitting, including:
The Fitting Sequence (what to adjust, and when)
Underwires choosing, placing, and fitting
The Band and how it supports everything
The Bridge (and why it matters more than you think)
Straps and their role in fit
Cups! fitting and shape adjustments
This Fit course is ideal if you’ve sewn bras before but feel stuck, frustrated, or unsure when it comes to fit, or just want to perfect your skills. Everyone is invited!

Is there a certain pattern included with the class fit kit, or do students bring in the pattern of their choice and use the fit kit supplies to make their own chosen pattern? If so, can we bring in a wireless pattern? I am on a quest to find a pattern or patterns to make wireless bras that fit, support, separate, are comfortable and give a pleasing shape under clothing. It’s a very tall order! This class seems geared to wired bras and I understand that the fitting challenges can be different for wired/non-wired patterns and it might not be within the scope of the class to do both.

We feel virtural sessions are best done, as you’re in the privacy of your own sewing room if you must share exactly where your fit issues are…if you are getting one/one assessments, it’ perfect virtually. Your comments are correct, this is successfully done via the Zoom screen.

So i have been sewing brass for 4 yrs. The sewing part is the easy part! I do a bit of custom fitting in extra large sizes and struggle to get a lifted fit. Is this class geared for that or do you have another class more for fittings problems?
I apologize in advanced for how basic my question is. This class looks great to me, but it is unclear exactly how the class operates. Is the class being offered a) in person at your location, or b) over the internet? I’m not sure how bra fitting could take place over the internet, because it usually takes inspection, some palpation and fabric smoothing, suggestions for improved fitting and construction. After each suggested improvement is employed, the outcome is evaluated, and the next modification is recommended, and the process continues, until a well fitted bra is the outcome. This practice usually requires the student and the teacher to be in the same location. Please advise me. Thank you, Linda
