Our Lace Bra Kits take the guesswork out of bra building by putting together everything you'll need to make a beautiful bra using your own pattern. If you need a pattern, we have a great selection on our Patterns Page, both paper and downloadable.

Nothing could be finer than to have bra building goodness coming to you every month of the year. As you know, we've been releasing kits of the month for the past 3 years, with each one being something beautiful in its own unique way. I can't tell you how many times we've sold out of a kit well before the end of the month because I've lost track! I've shown you a small sample of beautiful bras made up out of our lovely kits of the month in the photo.

We've heard your cries, and we've come up with the perfect solution -- get in the front of the line (and save a little money while you're at it). You give us all your specific requirements -- fabrics, elastics, wires and such, and we'll send you something beautiful at the beginning of every month. Sometimes it will be a lovely lace, sometimes it will be a gorgeous bamboo jersey print. The system will generate an order for you and will automatically bill your credit card. Then just relax, knowing that you have something special coming every month. If you get another order placed between the 20th of the month and last day of of the month we'll combine your orders and refund as much shipping as we can. We'll also do our best to give you early notice of coordinating items that might be releasing with the kit, like a special bamboo for undies or something like that. If we have a silk option we'll reach out to you to see if you'd like that upgrade and bill you the difference separately.

If you (or your loved one) orders your subscription by December 15, 2021, you should get the January kit in time to put it under the tree! We'll even wrap it for you if it's a gift. In general, you will receive the next month's kit as your first order. If we're having a sale, your first kit will be discounted for the sale.

This bra kit features either Microduoplex, Sheer Cup Lining, Super Simplex or Microlycra as the base fabric. One kit contains everything that you need to make a bra and has enough fabric for 2 with many sizes. Sewing Notes:
The strength of our microduoplex fabric, which makes it so wonderful for bras, also makes it hard to puncture with needles and pins. This is true with most duoplex fabrics. Use either fine silk pins or Wonder Clips to pin (I find Wonder Clips work best), and a Microtex 80/12 needle with a smooth thread like Superior Threads So Fine or Mettler Metrosene to make it easy to sew. In my testing, the So Fine thread and Microtex 80/12 won the challenge of the nicest stitch on microduoplex, and as long as my presser foot completely covered the seam allowance, I found it just as easy to sew as quilting cotton. I moved the needle to the right to set my seam allowance at 1/4" since my presser foot is a bit wide. I find it works well to saturate the lace with liquid starch and let it dry before laying out your pattern pieces and cutting your fabric. This stiffens the lace until you wash it and the lace has enough body to behave well in the sewing process.
We offer all these pins, clips, needles and thread here on our site.
