Beginner Bra Builder Bundle - Learn Bra Making!

Welcome to the beginning of your lingerie making journey!

Are you a beginner bra maker?
This bundle of fabrics and elastics will start you off right in becoming your own custom lingerie maker. You'll want to make a few tries at your fit, and this bundle gives you the ability to iterate your fit a number of times. A set of wires, typical fabrics, all elastics and water soluble thread (so you can disassemble your muslin quickly and easily) into 3 tries with several patterns. For your final project, you can add a bit of lace to give your final first project a bit of personality. 

The Bundle comes with our new Super Simplex fabric as your base fabric. This fabric combines some of the best features of a cup fabric to begin your journey. It is smooth, opaque, substantial, easy to sew and relatively supportive. Line with Sheer Cup Lining to make it fully supportive. Use either fine silk pins or Wonder Clips to pin (We find mini-Wonder Clips work best), and a Microtex 80/12 needle with a smooth thread like Superior Threads So Fine will make it easy to sew. In our testing, the So Fine thread and Microtex 80/12 won the challenge of the nicest stitch on Microduoplex, and we found it just as easy to sew as the jersey. Your Beginner Bra Builder Bundle includes:

• Cup fabric in Frost (the BBB is not available to be dyed)-
  
  • 1/2 yard of Super Simplex plus 1/2 yard of Sheer Cup Lining
    
• Band fabric - a kit cut of Regular Power Net (SMALL)  or Firm Power Net (LARGE) 
• Lace - a yard of stretch lace in Frost
• Elastics:  
  • 4 yards each of upper and lower band elastic
    SMALL: 1/2" picot/band elastic   LARGE: 5/8" picot/band elastic
  • 3 yards of Frost plush channeling
  • 3 yards or 18" of Frost strap elastic and 3 sets of corresponding rings and slides
    SMALL: 1/2" strap elastic   LARGE: 3/4" strap elastic , each with corresponding sets of rings/slides
  • Do not choose the Self Strap (18" of elastic, no rings and slides) option unless you are making the Bravo Bra #2.
• 3 sets of hooks and eyes
  • SMALL: 3X3 hook/eyes   LARGE: 3x4 hook/eyes
    Consult your pattern for guidance on this choice
• One 5-pack of Schmetz Microtex Needles 80/12
• A spool of Water Soluble Thread and a water pen to help remove stitches
• 3 pair of underwires - your target size, one size up, and one size down. If your target size is 32, you will receive the two sizes above, as well. If your target size is 64, you will also receive the two sizes below.
• Then, to fine tune underwire sizing, a gear tie and wire measurement chart to trace your breast root
