Our Bra Builder Combo Kits take the guesswork out of bra building by putting together everything you'll need to make a beautiful Bra using your own pattern. If you need a pattern, we have a great selection on our Patterns Page, both paper and downloadable.

There is a long history of adorning a woman or girl's head with flowers to symbolize love and celebration.  I remember my sweet sister wearing a crown of dandelions on her head at her wedding back in the seventies. This lace gives me that sweet feeling of a crown of flowers in the gentle hues of early spring.  Asmaa from @sewsurgicalendeavors made this stunningly beautiful bra with the Black Beauty bra pattern from Emerald Erin. Don't you love how she used the pintucks?! She used a double needle and darker thread to pintuck the bra tulle, and even though it was a bit tricky she persevered and got this gorgeous result. She also made the matching undies with her self-drafted high leg/high waist pattern.  The second pair got a sweet applique with the end of the lace, and it looks so lovely. Pop on over here to get the kit!

You can choose your bra fabrics to get your perfect look and fit. For cups, you may choose Microduoplex, which is the gold standard for a supportive bra. The microduoplex is buttery soft, never ravels or frays, is almost indestructible and lets clothing glide right over it. It has a satin side and a matte side, and you can use either side as the right side. If you've used other duoplex for your bra building, you'll be delighted with the Microduoplex. It has all the lovely features of the polyester Duoplex available elsewhere, but has a lovely hand and conforms to your shape even better. You can also specify Super Simplex for your cups. Line the Super Simplex with Sheer Cup Lining for larger sizes to get amazing support. Finally you can go for a more transparent look with a Sheer Cup Lining base fabric, which is what Asmaa did on the bra she made. You can choose regular or firm power net for your band, the size of your hook and eye and the type of straps that you want. Use our regular weight power net for 75% stretch, great comfort, and very good support. Use our firm weight power net  for the strongest support with 50% stretch. This is the power net that Bravo Bella carried for much of 2017 and 2018 except that it isn't stiff, it's soft. The price of the kit will change based upon the base fabric that you specify.

If you would like to make a matching pair of panties. you can get a Microlycra Panty Kit or a Stretch Mesh Panty Kit and choose out new seasonal color Boysenberry for a lovely set. You can also pick up one of our Flower Crown Tulle Lace Panty kits to add some additional lace. If you want the part lace, part fabric look like Asmaa has here, add some Microlycra or Stretch Mesh to your kit.

    Sewing Notes:

The strength of our microduoplex fabric, which makes it so wonderful for bras, also makes it hard to puncture with needles and pins. This is true with most duoplex fabrics. Use either fine silk pins or Wonder Clips to pin (I find Wonder Clips work best), and a Microtex 80/12 needle with a smooth thread like Superior Threads So Fine or Mettler Metrosene to make it easy to sew. In my testing, the So Fine thread and Microtex 80/12 won the challenge of the nicest stitch on microduoplex, and as long as my presser foot completely covered the seam allowance, I found it just as easy to sew as quilting cotton. I moved the needle to the right to set my seam allowance at 1/4" since my presser foot is a bit wide.

We offer all these pins, clips, needles and thread here on our site.
