Our Featured Artist Asmaa used the Carly French Knickers pattern by Michelle's Armoire, in the pair she made to accompany her Shades of Gray Lace Bra. She upsized to maximize the flowy movement of silk, and it brings a touch of vintage, pin-up feel. Wide lace creates the yoke, with Fancy Foldover Elastic at the waistband. Our Featured Artist Jennie did something similar with the Carley French Knickers and her Singing the Blues kit. This is just one of many ways to style your Stretch Silk Satin French Knickers; by nature, silk beautifully lends itself to everything from understated to sophisticated, but always elegant.
We've pulled together this kit to give you lots of creative options to make your pair special. We love to make sure that you get just what you want, so feel free to change this kit up with all the options. The standard kit is available in your choice of color (found here) in two fabric cut options: the Half is a half yard of fabric with 1 yard of waist elastic, and the Half+ is 3/4 yard of fabric with 2 yards of waist elastic. Both also include a 9" square of cotton jersey. We are offering our Fancy Foldover Elastic as the default waist elastic option, or you can chose to mix it up with your favorite waist elastic. We'll pick the best match color for your Stretch Silk Satin, or leave us a comment if you'd like something specific. Add a yard of wide lace to you kit to create a lovely pair like our featured artist Asmaa. Make your pair delicate with lace on the leg hems by adding 2 and a half yards narrow lace to your kit.
