The 2021 Great Bra Sewing Bee Story

Hello lovely honey Bees! Thank you so much for coming to the Great Bra Sewing Bee. I promised some flash sales during the weekend, and I haven't delivered until now. It's kind of a long story.

The night before the Bee I ended up in the Emergency Room with atrial fibrillation, and they needed to shock my heart to get it going well again. I basically didn't sleep that night since it was 5:00 am before I returned home. The next day was the first day of the Bee, and we were so excited. Then our website crashed, and we were all up until about 2am creating the workarounds that let our conference continue as planned. Hurrah! At 4:00 am I was awakened in a-fib again :(. No emergency room though! 

I realized that I needed sleep, but since my home doubles as both Bra Builders and the Great Bra Sewing Bee headquarters, I needed to escape to be able to get a quick nap. I ended up sleeping in my car in a park, and that was exactly what I needed. I was raring to go again, but not 100% on top of my game. Friday was spent getting some bloodwork done and on the phone with the doctor. 

By Saturday, I was feeling grand because the Bee was fully operational and people were happy. Hurrah! I completely forgot that I had intended to put some little bees out there for you. I am so sorry. The good news is that I got some out now, on our new product, Dye Blanks. So, this is our flash sale :). We're going to work as well as we can to get your orders out quickly and well. 

I am so very grateful to the entire bra sewing community for turning out for the Bee. You are an amazing bunch, and I'm honored to be able to put on such a fun event!
