Flamenco Willowdale Bra Kit

Those who've been garment sewing know the name Cashmerette! Specializing in sewing for curves, Cashmerette has now expanded their sewing line of patterns to include a wider ranges of sizes and most recently, LINGERIE! We are offering kits for their new pattern, the Willowdale, and we couldn't be more excited! 

I remember back in the day when my mom used to say "Red and Yellow, catch a fellow." I'm not sure where this came from, but I always notice lovely pairings of red and yellow. This bright and happy stretch lace is certainly eye-catching! Don't you love the combination of colors? The happy red is our color Scarlet, which is a Limited Edition color, which means that we don't dye it up often. The yellow is our muted color Wheat, which is a yellow neutral. I love the colors together - and I see the elegant costumes of Flamenco dancers in strong red and golden accents when I see this kit. Oh so cute!

This stretch lace is presented over our lovely Wheat fabric. We looked at it over Scarlet, and all the pretty features of the lace disappeared. You can choose between Scarlet and Wheat for your elastics. I prefer the Scarlet myself. The lace is a well balanced combination of geometric and floral, feminine and androgenous. Our Featured Artist Holly made a Willowdale with a full lace overlay for her hot and spicy creations. She was able to get 2 bras from her kit, and added the Annika wireless bra from Primrose Dawn to her capsule. She used the De Lingerie Academie Hera hot pants Panty pattern for the darling matching look and used the Orange Lingerie Kingston thong pattern for the second set of undies. For this Willowdale I would definitely choose the full lace overlay to take best advantage of the colors.

The Flamenco Willowdale Bra Kit contains: 

If you plan to make your matching panty with the Cashmerette Radcliffe, a smaller kit will use 1/2 yard and a larger kit will use 3/4 yard of lace. We'll follow your choices for your bra kit in your panty kit, so either all one color or with an accent, unless you tell us differently.
