Those who've been garment sewing know the name Cashmerette! Specializing in sewing for curves, Cashmerette has now expanded their sewing line of patterns to include a wider ranges of sizes and most recently, LINGERIE! We are offering kits for their new pattern, the Willowdale, and we couldn't be more excited!
Did you know that magnolias begin blooming in February! I didn't, but I found this out when I was looking for a way to name this gorgeous kit. The background color reminds me of the back of my magnolia leaves, which a muted and natural rosy color which pairs beautifully with our color Rose Clay. Then you add the flower forms in a creamy white, just like the showy blooms of a magnolia tree, and you have a stunning picture of the promise of spring moving through the land, creeping from south to north. Since I'm pretty far in the north, we still have a long wait! My magnolia usually blooms around Mother's Day.
Our beautiful stretch lace for this kit is 9" wide, so this kit is a candidate for a full lace overlay. We're combining Rose Clay and Cream for this kit with Rose Clay fabrics and Cream elastics. For a lace upper cup I would use the colors exactly as designed with the Rose Clay on the fabrics and Cream on the elastics. For a full lace overlay you can either use cream underneath for a hint of color or Rose Clay underneath for a more prominent color. If you match your fabrics and elastics you'll have the flowers be the star, and you can match them in all Rose Clay or all Cream. It's all beautiful!
Our lovely Featured Artist Holly made her Willowdale using the Rose Clay and Cream, and I love how it turned out. Isn't her workmanship amazing? She used a full lace overlay and Cream accents, and this bra is stunning! Her undies are also amazingly cute. I'll let you know the pattern once she gets her feet down. She moved house and squeezed this set into her very busy schedule.

If you plan to make your matching panty with the Cashmerette Radcliffe, a smaller kit will use 1/2 yard and a larger kit will use 3/4 yard of lace. We'll follow your choices for your bra kit in your panty kit, so either all one color or with an accent, unless you tell us differently.
