Have you seen the undies in some of the higher-end chains that have a folded edge, but no visible elastic? Well, they're using this fusible elastic! You're going to love sewing the side seams and pressing the rest, although I've found that fusing the side seams makes these truly no-show! Undies are done in no time at all. I always zigzag the edge down to increase its longevity. We have 3 widths of this elastic, 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4". I like using the wider ones on the waist and the narrower ones on the leg openings.
