When we thought up the idea of Shape for one of our key themes for the Bra Bee this year, we knew we needed to do something with shapewear. We did a nice shapewear class in 2020, and we didn't want to go over old territory. Alison mentioned that she had a girdle pattern, and we got a gleam in our eyes! What could be better for our vintage-inspired year than a vintage girdle?!? When we heard the story about how she was able to get a pattern off a Dior girdle, we just had to run with the idea. We've put together 3 different looks for this garment, which is a modern version of a vintage girdle. I love the idea of feeling smooth and pulled together under a special dress for a special occasion, don't you?
We've sourced all sorts of wonderful fabrics, colors and patterns for your garment. The Marlene kit is an amazing match with the Liz strapless bra and yoke back panties. The Audrey is subtle and sophisticated, and works nicely with the Lauren strapless bra. Finally, we have Josephine, which is full of exuberant personality with its peacock feathers. We love them all!
